Winter Mahjong is such a delightful little game! I picked it up looking for something to unwind with, and it totally delivered. I've played a lot of Mahjong Solitaire games, and Winter Mahjong holds its own. The gameplay is classic Mahjong, which is great. The 32 levels offer a nice progression in difficulty – they start out pretty easy to get you warmed up, but by the later levels, you really have to think a few moves ahead. It's satisfying when you clear a tricky board. My only small wish would be for a hint system that wasn't tied to a timer, but overall, it's a solid puzzle experience. Good for quick breaks.
It's an okay game for what it is. The winter theme is cute and the tiles are clear, but after a while, it just feels a bit repetitive. All 32 levels basically play the same, just with different tile layouts. The controls are perfectly fine, very straightforward point and click, no complaints there.
